We traveled across the world from San Francisco to Bodrum for the first time, and it was because of Trip Advisor and member reviews that we stumbled on this gem of an activity. From the first email requesting information through hugs goodbye at the end of our day together, everything about Bulent and Simone and their boat day trip was perfect!! I recommend you make a reservation well in advance, via email, as these two amazing people and their boat are popular. Let me break it down: 1) THE HOSTS: adorable, funny, intelligent, warm........these are people I would want as my friends if I lived there! We had delightful conversations about the US, Turkey and all things in between. They provided us with insightful information about Bodrum and Turkey which we never would have learned otherwise. 2) THE BOAT: modern, clean, beautiful, safe. They keep their boat in tip top shape. There was plenty of room for all of us to sit, sprawl, lie down, jump off, suntan, sit in shade....you name it. The onboard toilet was kept in perfect condition. We felt pampered and spoiled. 3) THE FOOD: Simone prepares an amazing lunch which was so much food we could barely eat it all: chicken, rice, vegetables, salad....honestly, it was restaurant quality. Then we had another "tea" with sweets later in our day!! 4) THE TOUR: Bulent took us all around the bays and inlets and islands of Turkey for hours. He set us down for a swim several times. He is a master at operating his boat. He made sure we had a say in what we would like to do, which was awesome! This day trip is for all ages, swimming or not, young and old, sun lovers or shade lovers. We have done similar trips, in Italy for example, from Amalfi to Capri, and, believe me, there is no comparison!!! Our day trip to Capri cost us almost three times as much, we had no food or drink served to us and the captain spoke very little English so we couldn't get to know him or learn from what he had to say. Bulent is funny and entertaining and although he is Turkish, his English is perfect, as is Simone's, who actually lived in the US for over a decade before starting this business. Our family travels internationally a lot, and we do lots of day trips and activities where we go. This was one of our absolute favorites, and if you travel to Bodrum and do not treat yourself to this gorgeous, fun-filled day with two amazing hosts, you are missing out! We love you Bill and Simone!!!

What else can be said about My Way Boat Trip and the proprietors, Bill & Simone... we had a wonderful day on our private boat trip.
I will admit that I was at first skeptical of all the wonderful reviews -- is it really that good of a trip? are these real reviews? how can all the reviews be so positive?
After our day with Bill, my husband and I agree with the positive sentiment of the reviews. It was a fantastic day and best part of our time in Bodrum!
The boat is beautiful, clean and well maintained. We enjoyed all the section of the boat and were made to feel as if it was our boat. You can relax below the deck, hang out under shade or sunbath on the front of the boat or on top of the boat.
The food that Bill made was delicious - everything is organic and local. We had the fish (catch of the day - seabream), pasta and salad. Everything was tasty - the quality and flavors of the fresh vegetables and morning catch of fish really made all the difference. The portions were LARGE and we did not think we could finish it all -- but it was so good that we did.
But most importantly, it is the proprietors that make this trip so special. Unfortunately, Simone was not with us on our tour but Bill was lovely. He's very friendly, knowledgeable about the area, well-traveled and a very positive person. We found Bill to be very flexible during the planning stages as well as our time on the boat. Throughout our day together, we enjoyed great conversation and hope to stay in touch with Bill.
We only did the one day trip and next time we are in town, we hope to do an overnight trip with Simone and Bill.
This is more expensive than many of the other boats at the marina -- but this is PRIVATE and you are getting your money's worth and more by taking My Way Boat Trip. You will enjoy every moment.

Magical Day thanks to Bill and Simone

We have travelled the world, however we have never thought that renting a boat run by strangers could feel so welcoming, hospitable and private !! Bill and Simone become your family in one second, they define hospitality and I can't thank them enough for creating this great memory for us!
The boat is the cleanest I have seen, safety standards are very high and the food is delicious,

When you're in Bodrum, do youself a favor and book a day on My Way with husband and wife, Bill and Simone. You won't regret it! The boat is immaculate and Bulent is knowledgable and very competent. Simone is a great first mate! They are a great couple and take tremendous pride in what they do and in making their guests feel welcome. They pay special attention to be sure you're not near the other party boats that cruise the waters. We had a wonder lunch of pan grilled chicken and pasta with a chopped salad and in the afternoon SImone serves tea and cake. We had a blast and loved every minute with them.

My Way is simply the Only Way...

We've been lucky to have some fantastic experiences on boats, and generally on the water. I personally love days on the ocean...As it happens we actually went out on a Gulet last year in Bodrum, this was blown away by our time on My Way.
This was actually by far the best day on holiday we have ever had... don't even consider going on the larger / party boats in Bodrum. Trust me when I say 'My Way' is the only way to do a boat trip in Bodrum...
We organised a private day on 'My Way' just the two of us with Bulent (aka Bill) & Simone. Firstly you could not wish to meet a nicer couple. They welcomed us so warmly, and made this trip an experience we will never forget.
My Way is a 40ft sail / smaller beautifully presented boat. I'll start by saying it is immaculate, both Bill & Simone like things to be 'just right' and this is reflected in their boat and the overall service. My Way can accommodate up to 12 guests but we chartered it privately for 2, it can also be chartered for overnight / days travel.
Bill picked us up from our hotel, and from that moment on the day just got better and better. They are incredibly professional, Bill and wife Simone are warm, friendly and so attentive and are passionate in ensuring you have an incredible day. They will give you as much or as little attention as you want...Bill is happy to take you to 'other' coves where tourist / party boats tend to shy away from, which was perfect for us. We talked, laughed, swam, dived, ate, and slept...With crystal clear water, secluded coves, and beautiful weather we honestly could not believe how lucky we were.
Bill & Simone have both lived in USA for 15 years, they speak Turkish, English & German fluently, and were more than happy to cater for my dietary requirements, just let them know in advance. The swimming was perfect, the food beautiful, fresh and our overall experience was first class.
Not only did we have a fantastic first day, we actually organised a second day out on the boat which was even more beautiful. Over the course of 3 days we became friends with Bill & Simone and spent some social time together in the evenings, and we'll be seeing them both again soon.
If you're in Bodrum I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, just email or call and spend a day with Bill and Simone and you'll agree with every word I've written.

We booked my way a good few months ago from the reviews on trip advisor.
Booking was a simple process done through email. We confirmed a few weeks before we arrived and went to search out the boat a few days before our trip. While looking for the boat we ran into the owner Bill. This put us at ease with regards our decision to book with my way.
On the day of the trip we arrived on time and after a quick chat with bill we set off for the day.
The boat was clean and nicely presented which showed me how serious and professional my way were.
Over the course of the day we had several stops for sunbathing, snorkelling and lunch which was fantastic (I'm a chef by the way) fresh organic food of marinaded chicken, Turkish salad, seasoned pasta and fresh vegetables. Wow.
The best trip ever we have had on our Turkish holidays and we have been coming for 22 years.
If you are looking for the £8 boat trips you are in the wrong place. If you want a bit of style and class for your friends and family My Way Is The Way.
On a quick note to the owner Bill. Well done on having such a great business and please keep this up. See you next year.

The Perfect Day !!!

We had one of the most amazing days on the water with Bill - probably the best day of our 11 in Turkey. Aside from the fact that the boat is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, Bill is engaging and an excellent host/guide.
Bill designs his tours in a way that you are as secluded as you can be from any other boats - this allowed for spectacular snorkeling and very peaceful views (and naps!).
I cannot say enough about Bill as a host - when you wanted some quiet time, he was a "ghost" on the boat; when you had questions or wanted to engage - he was there with answers. Plus, the guy is hilarious. The meal on the boat was delicious and impressive. The fridge was stocked with goodies.
If we were staying one day longer in Bodrum we would have gone on the boat again. It was truly an amazing day and experience. If you are reading this review stop waiting and book your tour!!

The trip was absolutely stunning and highlight of our entire three week vacation. There were four of us, all gay guys, and we had a blast tanning, swimming, snorkeling, and checking out the different coves. The lunch the captain prepared on board was delicious and fresh. I would wholeheartedly recommend taking this trip. And the captain and his wife are very gay friendly.

Best boat trip - Amazing day out!!

We visited Turkey as a family with our 3 children (aged from 10-15) between 8/8/16-22/8/16 with my friends and their children also. My friend had researched boat trips before we left England and decided that from reading many positive reviews on Trip Advisor - 'My Way' was the number one choice.
I can honestly say that it was the best experience ever.......we enjoyed it so much so that we actually went out twice on the boat during our stay in Turkey. The owner Bill is extremely welcoming and a wonderful attentive host. He advises you on all the beautiful quiet bays he can take you to with beautiful clear turquoise waters, provides snorkel equipment to use & cooks a wonderful fresh lunch consisting of tasty marinated grilled chicken, pesto pasta, fresh bread, tomato salad and homemade local fresh dip.
The boat itself is very clean and in great condition. We went as a group of 9 and felt there was plenty of room to move around the boat. It has very comfortable loungers built into the top and front of the boat and there is also a shaded area at the back of the boat for you to sit and escape the sun should you need to and comfortably eat lunch too.
As I mentioned before, we honestly had such a wonderful day out with Bill that we booked him for a 2nd boat trip before leaving Turkey so we were lucky enough to do it twice. If you are thinking about doing a boat trip whilst in Bodrum I would recommend using Bill 100%. Such a lovely guy, provides a wonderful professional service and will give you an amazing experience. We will cherish our memories from our trips out on 'My Way'........It was the highlight of my holiday to Turkey.

My family and I were lucky enough to spend a day sailing on My Way with Bill and Simone and it was hands down the highlight of our entire trip! The boat is absolutely exquisite and in perfect condition, complete with large comfortable cushions, cute decorating details, and the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen on a boat. The space is perfect for a group (we had six total and tons of space) and is good for all ages and interests. There is tons of space to lay out and relax or stay protected from the sunlight in the covered area at the back of the boat.
From the moment we stepped on board the skipper (Bill) and his wife Simone went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect and were the best hosts imaginable. They were friendly, fun, extremely accommodating, and always at your side with a cold drink or pillow to prop your head. Simone was so attentive to our every move and they both were just the sweetest couple. The meal they prepared for lunch with absolutely delicious, all made on board, and included fresh, organic ingredients and local specialties. We asked for all of the recipes because we enjoyed them so much.
If you are in Bodrum, this is a must do experience to see the coast from a different perspective and have an incredible day on the Aegean Sea! I also have done other boat tours in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and think this was an amazing value. We received such great service, delicious food and drinks, and we explored all day for a really reasonable price. Don't miss out on this amazing trip!

Words Can't Adequately Capture the Wonderfulness!

After extensive research about this port city on our cruise itinerary, we decided to enjoy a laid back day with My Way Boat Tours and to see what all the buzz about them was all about. Similar to most of the other comments, this experience was one of our most favorite on this trip. Everything was absolutely perfect. Relax and let them take excellent care of you for you the day! The boat was immaculately clean, the many cushions were not only conducive to sunbathing, but even a short nap after lunch (haha). The lunch was fresh and yummy and the customer service was exceptional. Regardless of having read the excellent feedback before my visit, the day still exceeded my expectations in every way. Many thanks for the wonderful memories.

We spent two nights on My Way, and it was an absolute highlight of our 15 days in Turkey. Simone and Bill were the best hosts we could've hoped for - they took such great care of us, and we thoroughly enjoyed their company. The boat is beautiful and the trip around the Bodrum peninsula was picturesque - the water is the most stunning shade of aqua you will ever see. We swam, ate, read, relaxed, slept (outside on top of the boat), and then repeated all over again. Bill is a fantastic cook (and Captain and Mojito Maker, as well as being a handsome and charming Turk - and very modest ;) ). Simone was a darling, and went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed at all times. Thank you guys for a very memorable and enjoyable few days - we look forward to seeing you and returning the hospitality in NZ!!
